Three points I would like to add. In regards to those that would argue, well you can leave, first of all that is blaming the victim. That is no different than telling a rape victim she should not have been alone at night. Second of all, the argument falls flat on its face if one day there is a one world government. What would they say then, you can always choose to die? That is the same thing you could have told a slave. Again, blaming the victim, but it does not make the enslavement/extortion voluntary, just because one chooses to live or not move.

The other point I would like to make is in regards to those that would claim taxation is voluntary because we get to vote. That is no different than saying it is OK for two people to steal from another, as long as they let victim vote for whether or not he should get stolen from. What a joke.

To the people who contend that taxation is voluntary, because you can just move away if you don't like it, I would say: Would you hold the same view of state-sponsored murder? If the State decided to start randomly exterminating people, would you consider it voluntary suicide because people could escape it simply by moving away?
